The DPO Coalition is funded by Ministry of Disabled People | Whaikaha.
The funding only covers the costs associated with attendance at meetings (meeting fees), travel, accommodation, food and reasonable accommodations. Reasonable accommodations include New Zealand Sign Language Interpreters, captioning, meeting assistants, and support people. The funding also supports the DPO Coalition's Secretariat.
Annually, the DPO Coalition provides an accountability report to the Ministry to provide transparency of our work with Government agencies and stakeholders.
